This suitcase is entirely hand crafted and hand stitched. The exterior is vegetable tanned cow hide. The main panel has been engraved and coloured with high quality ink to create a mosaic effect and is protected with a coating of flexible varnish. If well cared for the image will remain bright for years. However, the varnish is removable and the image can be restored if any fading eventually occurs. You can return this particular product for a free colour restoration anytime after two years if it is required. It is an image of a seagull who has arrived in style. The navy top or lid has also been engraved and painted with white and grey highlights to show the overnight journey the bird made across open sea to reach his destination. The aluminium support bars on the lid are covered with red sheep hide. The inside is lined with red patent leather. The straps are red and blue. It is approximately 50.5 cms wide, 35.5 cms high and the sides are 10cms deep. It has been designed to be permitted as hand luggage or 'carry on' luggage on a particular airline but rules vary with different airlines so please check before you fly to avoid an awkward scene.
